Doing Enough

Are we doing enough to preserve our natural resources?

Sometimes, I believe, we put too much criticism into our efforts to awaken those who don’t give much thought to the important practice of conservation. This is not to say I think we’re doing enough, and let’s back off. Not by any means!

However, we tend to forget “the best idea we ever had”, according to an author named Wallace Stegner. He was speaking of the designation of our (USA) national parks. The parks are treasure troves of wildlife, wild flowers, mammals, plants, deserts, mountains, etc., and they are there for the public to enjoy and to become better educated about conservation.
